Problem Solving and Reasoning in Key Stages 1 and 2 Mathematics
This session has been designed to help teachers develop their strategies when approaching two of the three aims of the National Curriculum for Maths. It aims to increase understanding of effective practice in teaching problem solving and reasoning, while facilitating and supporting cross-school practical lesson study projects, with a clear focus on improving pupil learning and engagement. This course will equip you to confidently plan and teach inspirational mathematics lessons that result in engagement of all pupils in meaningful learning activities and support the aims of the National Curriculum.
