The Downland Alliance is based at The Downs School and is a member of the Teaching School Hub Berkshire (TSH Berkshire).

We work together to support and develop teaching and learning whatever the stage of a teacher’s career – from initial teacher training (ITT) to facilitating Early Career Teacher (ECT) training for primary schools in West Berkshire and offering further development through the delivery of National Professional Qualification (NPQs) for those in leadership roles.

We work to deliver the highest quality teacher training and professional development opportunities.

We work with Best Practice Network to deliver NPQs.

We are facilitators on behalf of the Teaching School Hub Berkshire (TSH Berkshire) for the West Berkshire ECT programme.
