The Downland Alliance is based at The Downs School and is proud to be a member of the Teaching School Hub Berkshire (TSH Berkshire).

We work collaboratively to support and develop high quality teaching and learning at every stage of a teacher’s career – from initial teacher training (ITT) to facilitating Early Career Teacher (ECT) provision for primary schools across West Berkshire and to delivering National Professional Qualification (NPQs) for colleagues in leadership roles.

Our commitment is to provide the highest standard of teacher training and professional development opportunities.

We work as facilitators on behalf of the Teaching School Hub Berkshire (TSH Berkshire) to coordinate the West Berkshire primary ECT programme.

We also work alongside Best Practice Network as facilitators to deliver NPQs.
