TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking onto a course, programme, twilight session, school to school support or INSET day you are accepting that you agree with these Terms and Conditions.
The Downland Alliance reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. You are responsible for checking our website to obtain notice of any such changes
The failure of the Downland Alliance to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Payment is due in full prior to the event taking place. Arrangement for payment after the event date must be made prior to the event. Where such arrangements have been agreed all fees must then be paid within 30 days of the event taking place. In the event of late payment we reserve the right to not accept future bookings. We also reserve the right to charge interest on outstanding invoices at the rate of 2.5% per calendar month.
Cancellation: All cancellations must be received in writing using the website contact form or by email.
In the event of a cancellation the following fees apply:
Up to 15 days before the date of the session | No charge. |
14 days or less | 50% of the session cost, per person. |
No show | Full cost of the session, per person. |
Date changes: Once a booking has been made, the date may only be changed in extenuating circumstances, subject to availability.
Changes to Content: INSET Days, Twilight Sessions and Courses are frequently updated and enhanced and we reserve the right to alter any of the courses’ content without prior notice. We will make every effort to provide the services as specified, but, if for any reason beyond its control it fails to do so, neither the Downland Alliance, employees, members of the strategic board, appropriate governors, the LA nor consultants or employees shall be liable for any resulting loss or damage. In such circumstances, schools will be offered an alternative date or a credit note.
Authorisation: By submitting a booking to us, by whatever means, you are acknowledging that you have received authorisation for this expenditure from the relevant person at your institution.
Legal interpretation: The courses and materials provided by The Downland Alliance cannot be relied upon for legal interpretation. Neither the Alliance nor its employees, trainers or consultants can accept responsibility for delegates’ actions, or those of other people reading the course notes or interpreting the training in litigation, or responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of relying on the training or the training notes
Cooling Off Period: From the date of making your booking with us, whether online, by phone or by post, you have 7 days from which to make a cancellation without charge. Thereafter your booking will be bound by our terms and conditions (see above).
If a booking with us involves a 3rd party training provider or venue, we may share your details with them to facilitate preparations for the course.
